Think about it: we all think carefully about what we wear. Our jewellery, our clothes or our shoes are often carefully selected and often customised. The reality though is that the first place someone will look at us is in fact our eyes.
Glasses need to compliment our complexion, hair style, jewellery and clothes and also fit perfectly.
We are constantly up-dating our designer glasses range with fresh brands. If you are looking for eye wear that lets you stand out in the crowd and show off your personality, we have the frames for you.
Yes. If you are eligible for assistance from the NHS for your glasses, you may be eligible for a discount toward the purchase of designer glasses if you make that choice. If you have any questions about designer glasses, feel free to ask a member of our team for help.
No. Glasses can improve vision, but they won't make your eyes stronger or weaker if you wear them. The prescription lenses in your eyeglasses work by altering the way light is focused on the retina, resulting in sharper vision. Thus, the visual experience as a whole is enhanced. Additionally, your eyesight may continue to deteriorate even after you have started using corrective lenses, as this is a natural consequence of ageing. Because of the timing, people may assume that your glasses are to blame. However, your eyesight changing probably has nothing to do with how often you wear your glasses and everything to do with getting older. Your eyesight won't change either way if you stop wearing glasses or if you start wearing them again.
Here are a few things you can do to prolong the life of your new designer eyewear and keep them looking great:
Use a microfiber cloth or lens cleaner intended for optical wipes to clean your glasses. Always put them on and take them off with both hands.
If you ever put your glasses down, make sure to put them down with the lenses pointing upwards, or better yet, put them back in their protective case.
Don't use any kind of fabric, tissue, paper product, soap, or hand sanitiser on your glasses because it can damage the lens coating and render your glasses unusable.
Never rest your spectacles atop your head; doing so may cause the frames to enlarge and the arms to warp and alter form.
It's not a good idea to leave your glasses in a hot car or next to a heater, as both of these things can damage the lenses and cause the protective coatings to peel off.
Since we only buy from reputable distributors in the optical industry, we know that our items are real.
