Specialeyes Eyecare Opticians is an Independent Optician with three locations in London. After recognizing the differences in service provided by different opticians, we decided to open an optician that delivers the best service for all patients, NHS or private. Specialeyes Eyecare opticians was established in 2012, with the opening of our first location in Willesden. We have always prioritised providing personalised care to our patients.
At Specialeyes Eyecare Opticians, we are always looking for new ways to improve our efficiency and patient care. With modern innovations in opticians' technology and our on-site glazing lab we are able to provide same day glasses. This reduces the time it takes us to provide conventional glasses to our patients from around one week to as little as 15 minutes. This is helpful for if you need an emergency pair of glasses made.
Our East London optician launched after recognising the need for an all-around optician where we can provide our customers with a personalised and fast service that allows them to have a direct input into their eye care. Furthermore, we are committed to giving the best possible service to all our patients, whether they are NHS or private.
When we established our East London branch in Upton Park. Surprisingly, we identified a substantial number of children in and around the area who needed glasses, so in late 2019, we contacted a local primary school and offered them with a free eye screening service for all their children, allowing us to help identify any eye problems at an earlier age.
In 2017, when we opened our branch in East London, we used our experience to ensure that OCT retinal imaging technology was available to all our patients right away. OCT imaging is a technology that allows us to obtain a 3-D image of the retina, also known as the back of the eye. This technology is mostly seen in hospitals. We made the decision to purchase this equipment for the benefit of our patients. Not only that, but we offer this service at no extra charge! As a result, we now have one of the most extensive in-store libraries of OCT pictures. We can also compare photographs from prior eye tests to evaluate how your eye health has progressed.
Our goal is to provide you with the most beneficial treatment options for your vision, whether it be the critical examination and correction of visual problems, the detection and proper management of abnormal eye disorders, or both.
Specialeyes Eyecare opticians has been involved in providing NHS eyecare services for over 10 years, and we are proud to be in a position to make an immediate, direct and significant difference to the quality of people’s lives.
